This Project started out modestly as an idea for a song about a friend and Cleveland Legend named John Adams (aka "Super Fan" or "Big Chief Boom-Boom" as Herb Score called him). Within the span of 4 short weeks it grew from a 2-song* CD with a 4-panel digipak package design to a disc in a jewel case with a 16 page booklet and doulbe sided tray card.
*same song performed "Acoustically" with a band and a "Radio Edit" using a backing track and live vocals.
I was prepared to bank roll the project with my own American Express Card to get it recorded and released as I wanted to get it out as quickly as possible with John's recent passing and Opening Day 2023 looming right around the corner. With that in mind I embarked on many long days & nights of hard work & little, if any sleep as the project continued to grow in size and scope. As I told Pamela Sandy from Confiance, LLC, the firm that oversees John's Charity, "This project is gaining a lot of momentum and is rolling almost out of my control. I am just trying to keep up with it!"
As a result John's legacy is being honored via our song and a commorative 16 page booklet and tray card, housed in a jewel case. The project is being sponosored and underwritten by several very generous Cleveland companies who, like most of us respected and admired John Adams and everything he accomplished in his all-to-brief time with us here in Cleveland. These philanthropic minded Clevelanders shared my enthusiasm and desire to honor the memory of my friend and a friend to all who met him, John Adams.
The underwriting these sponsors provided will finance the recording, manufacturing, marketing and promotion of the disc.
Proceeds from the sale of the CD will be donated to johnjadamsscholorship.org a 501(c)3 charity that John created to contribute to and fund the arts in Northeast Ohio (music, dance, visual & industrial).
Thank you for visiting this website and for considering helping us help others via your purhase of this CD. John's kindness, spirit of giving and genuine sense of caring are being kept alive by each and every one of us. I think he would be proud!
